I like their 'culturally appropriate' logo.
I was thinking about asking info about other schools and i thought to myself what makes a good school in Vietnam.
For me in Viet Nam when i work for a school I need the following not necessarily in this order.
1. Reasonable Pay $18/hr +
2. Paid on time.
3. Set schedule (NO LAST MINUTE CLASS CHANGING)
4. Same class week in week out.
5. Students placed in classes reflective of their level (or at least attempted to achieve this)
6. Can get a work permit.
7. Classes with no more than 20 students. (that's being very generous, but realistic)
I cant think of much more that i need. I suppose my pet peeve is the class and schedule changing (we've all had that happen or even worse given a topic that the students have already learned). Saying that you cant really check most of these things until you start there and my experience is most schools are different for each teacher. |
