I am working with a recruiter sending me contracts - no name of the school, no address of the school, no contact with the school, no contact with teachers there. So can't even determine if the school exists or if the recruiter is just having me come over for a school that doesn't exist and will shove me into a low paying cram school instead.

Is this normal for Taiwan?

Very well known Taiwan recruiter.

Maybe this is just the way it is for Taiwan?

I really want to secure a job before arrival.

It is probably Dewey? They do this because if you knew the name of the school, then you could just get in touch with the school directly instead of using the recruiter. This is the problem with recruiters, you never know what you are getting into.
