I heard that she was flying to Oman, but hadn't picked up the detail that Oman had been handling the negotiations. Not surprising as Oman is the one country in the Gulf that has consistently maintained their long time good relationship with Iran.

I have heard that there is quite open talk in Oman (even in the press?) about the fact that the Sultan and the Foreign Minister are negotiating for the release of the other two imprisoned tourists.
