Hello, I have worked for English Excel, I found their centers quite good with computers and reading material as well as worksheets, their are Native staff (gweilo's) that you can work with as well, however I was only working as a substitute teacher, so I can't tell you if the full time pay package is good or not. I found it better than other centers and more reliable and straightforward, hope this helps - Daniel.

Hi I found the other thread and accidentally replied to that one, so I will just copy and paste my post here:

I worked at an EE a few years ago. I enjoyed it, despite being forced to say "rubbish bin" as an American teacher and being completely baffled when my English co-workers would describe the sound of "ough" with an "or". Make sure though that the "full day off" between M-F is a full day, not two half days. Teachers that were hired after me started having two mornings off instead of a full day. I had Sunday and Monday, it was great! The pay is decent but nothing near what NET or International Schools pay. With that said, it was an awesome opportunity, and back then, the teachers had a lot of creative input into the curriculum. If you go and have some art or digital media talent, make sure the manager knows, you will be able to put it to use. Also, back then there was some opportunity for career advancement, as the manager would promote some teachers to "senior". She wrote me a great letter of recommendation for grad school upon leaving, I was really grateful. EE doesn't provide health insurance, but you don't really need it in HK. Back then we started with 14 days off which ended up for plenty of time to travel. The students that attend are almost completely by word of mouth and referral, so you will work with some really sweet kids. Enjoy!

I will be in the same boat in a few weeks. Which version is used most? 2003 or 2007?
