The Canadian Govt had no choice but to put it's finger in that dam to stop the money leak caused by the increasingly popular "Refugee Tours" that were being sold in Mexico by the hundreds. Canada's generosity came back to bite it in the butt, big time.
Is there not still a work program available for Mexicans? I think there are two separate issues here. |

| Yes, there is a still a farm worker program in place. I've only met Mexicans in Ontario that were part of the program but I have to imagine you've got something in place in western Canada as well. |

There are more programs out there. |
