NOVA bankruptcy...again?

My boyfriend and I were part of the NOVA collapse in 2007. It took over a year for us to receive our backpay, but we did receive it.

But, just today, my boyfriend's father wrote to us (we're in Korea now) and said that a letter and documents from the NOVA bankruptcy lawyers arrived saying that 503,000 yen is owed to my boyfriend. I'm not sure if I have received similar documents.

Has anyone else received this letter? Since it requests banking information, could it be a scam?

That is not a scam. Does it request your banking info or does it ask to confirm the bank account you used when you worked at Nova?

I was also part of the crash and just got the same letter. I filled it out and sent it back to them pronto. They are paying back the 20% not covered by the government back in '08.
