Anyone know what the contact hours are like at MLS?

Do you mean "contract" hours?

The earliest possible class time is 9:45 am and the latest you will finish is about 9pm. It depends on your schedule, but those are the approximate times. The earliest I start is 10:10 and my latest day finishes at 7:05. You are given a set schedule in April when you start and it stays that way for the entire year, though some classes may finish earlier if there are 3 or less students.

Thank you, that is interesting and useful.

By "contact hours" I meant the number of hours you're expected to be in contact with students - teaching hours per day/week.

It depends. First year teachers have about 25 - 26 contact hours a week.
