It's working out for me. My husband and I have bought a condo outright, and are thinkign about havnig a family. that being said, I've had no retirement programmes set up for me, so we have to worry about htat.

I have an MA in TEFL and am doing a master in Professional Education and Teaching. BOth are distance. I think that you could get into an MA progrmame with no BA. Sometimes they count life experience as long as it's documented. HOpe it works out for you

Sigh, I would like to go to the ME, but hubby doesn't want to go.

Sounds like you're doing well naturegirl.

Yes it does look like I have a good chance at being admitted. The potential problem would lie with employers/immigration not looking over my lack of BA.

I can only speak for where I am, but kimmi doesn't care WHAT degree you register with them, as long as it's a degree. Some people I work with have their BAs registered, others have their MAs.

But I think you have something there, get an MA and BA at the same time. I know that the univeristy of Maryland has a good programme. It's aimed at military personnel and is very flexible, plus you can transfer credits. Look into CLEPing out of courses as well. And ask if you can get college credit for work / volunteer experience. Some places do that. There are other ways as well, look here

Korean immigration, but that's all I'm saying. There's a separate board with info about Korea.
