Are you getting this day off or do you have to work? |

No work Monday or Tuesday, but despite asking two weeks ago, we werent told till 10 oclock last night that we werent working on Monday, so didnt make plans to go anywhere or do anything. I am not happy. |

This business of waiting to make decisions to the last minute seems present "from top to bottom". I recall the Fed Gov last minute decision to give an extra day off to celebrate the bicentennial.
It happens all the time, here, in my experience.
I haven't been in Mexico long enough to fully understand the psychology at work but it means many opportunities are squandered, unnecessarily. |

No work monday or tuesday. Did not find out "official" word until Friday though. We also had a half day on Friday for Halloween! |

Do you work at an American school? Otherwise, why the time off for Halloween? |

Now why would you want to do THAT?? Get out and go to some of the places that has beautiful displays all set up for the Day of the Dead. That's what I did today and it was pretty cool.
I'll probably go again tomorrow as well. |
