|
|
Hi there,
I finish my current teaching contract in mid December and wondered if anyone knew of EFL companies in Tokyo offering intensive courses to students over the christmas break (similar to summer schools in the UK for example) that I can approach for work. I have a visa valid till the end of April and may be heading to Australia early 2011 contingent on job offers so i'm looking for a stopgap rather than tying myself into a long term contract so i'd also appreciate any alternative suggestions for short term contracts in Tokyo (bar YL Westgate courses don't start till April,).
Many thanks in advance. |

Nowadays, with competition for jobs as high as it is, I wouldn't expect too many people to give away such opportunities. Keep your eyes peeled in The Japan Times (online ads are different than those in the paper edition). Best of luck. |

swapping Tokyo for Australia? I was just in Syndey and the surrounding area a couple weeks ago. It was pretty awesome, but did not seem to have the edge over city life in Japan. Of course that is my opinion.
Given my impressions are from short term observations in both cases.
On a side note, they are both about 1000 times better than Doha, Qatar! |
