I meant the posts on the Jobvent site. They're all gone now.

Have never seen that site before. Perhaps the employer in question complained and threatened to take away any advertising money? Who knows? Ask JobVent.

But had seen it on 30 Dec:

You might want to see these reviews of JALSS from employees. Not very stellar to say the least.

Very Happy

@Fujisan
It seems that the site has had a refurb to go with the new name and quite a few negative posts about other companies have gone the way of the Romans, too. Perhaps it had something to do with the rumors circulating on the site that companies were writing good reviews for themself whilst slagging of other employers on their pages. And recently I noticed a couple of strange posters who had taken it upon themselves to go around flagging a huge number of comments as fake (and actually naming the company they thought responsible), despite having never worked for any of the companies in question.

seklarwia,
Thanks for hitting me with a smiley instead of smug remark. Perhaps I should edit my post to say "never seen it before to the best of my recollection". Ha!

It really was meant as humourous remark. Glad you appreciate. Wink
Hell... I can't remember half of what read on the net last week yet alone 11 months ago.

Well back to JALSS, the General Union claims to have several simultaneous lawsuits against them. That's on top of them winning a lawsuit against Interac in Osaka.

The only other company I've read having getting sued recently is Altia Central which used to pay better than the others.

I don't see how JALSS expects to recruit CELTA qualified teachers if they can't pay the teachers a living wage never mind just paying them on time every month.

Max Ali is back in Egypt getting treatment for radiation poisoning, or at least that's what he's been having his lawyers tell the courts. Apparently his mother also won't let him return to Japan.

No joke.

This follows his claim in court that all salary records were destroyed in a fire.
