I have been searching for information on moving to Malaysia with a dog and have been coming up short.
Does anyone have any information? Anything from, "I know a guy who knows a guy..." type to an actual link would be helpful at this point.
Thanks! |

Ask your VET and check with the airline of your choice (that actually flies into Malaysia).
They should both have (or have access to) information in regards to import regulations, restrictions, vaccinations, quarantine and other pertinent requirements for you to take your pet with you.

Well, some forums -maybe this one?- are quite picky about posters posting links to other forums. I just did a quick google search on the word string "moving to malaysia with a dog" and was amazed at the number of sites giving just such advice.
For example, the quarantine period is 7 days. It also looks like they require "all shots and vaccinations", whatever ALL entails. |

Thank you both.
Yes, I did find more information about the technicalities of moving with a dog.
Does anyone know anyone who has done it? I know it is possible to do but I'd like to read from people who have actual experience with it.
I would be bringing the dog (who has all her shots and vaccinations) from the Middle East and so a quarantine period would apply - any feedback on the facilities? |
