the answer to most of your questions will depend on where in china you want to go. |

sorry about that. I was offered a job at a school in Beijing. The school provides 3000 RMB for rent. The salary is quite good. I just want to know what kind of expenses I should expect. |

Internet is better in the mornings. Sometimes a site will load, sometimes it won't. Eventually, a few of your favorites will get blocked and you will need a VPN which gives you a faster connection sometimes.
For electricity, it depends where you live. Find out how much the landlord wants, as well as water and gas (if it is available), and post here.
Eating out is even more vague. Everyone has different eating habits. I prefer to eat at home and stock up. Then I go to the fancy hot pot restaurants once or twice a month and splurge (100 RMB for 2 people, figure 200-250 for a family), add up if you factor living in Beijing which is probably more expensive (100 RMB more? I don't really know). I don't see the point in eating out at the cheap hot pot places. If you are going to live cheap, why not make the most of it and prepare the food? |
