Is this a credible school? They claim for a payment of $200. they will give you a TESOL certificate and paid employment.
Is this certificate recognized by other schools and by governments other than China?
Has anyone completed this program AND then obtained employment requiring a TESOL certificate in someplace like Europe? Thanks. |

You get what you pay for is correct, but education is also what you make of it. Everyone has taken a class that they didn't try very hard in and still got a good mark. They usually shrug it off, often thinking how smart they must be because they didn't even have to try. My question is what would have learned if you actually put in some effort
I have taken an online TEFL course in the past, and ya you could scam your way through it, the answers can even usually be found online. You could read the questions first then look for the answers skipping the "unneeded" information. This method will quickly but falsely earn you credentials but you will not obtain any knowledge, just some paper with your name and a stamp and maybe if your lucky a ribbon. Some employers really like ribbons however, so I digress.
The other option would be to actually read the work and the assignments and take the time suggested to form quality answers. It is dangerous, even with self directed courses you just might end up learning something. |

You pay for a lot, actually ----
About 2000 RMB off of each salary for the first six months of pay from your first job after the course is finished.
It's a credible course, actually. I know about 4, maybe 5 graduates. They all approved. |

OK, maybe it's credible, but in my opinion the price is high. $200 plus 2000 RMB x 6 months? 12000 RMB is too many red Mao's for me. |

Yeah, I would just pay for the 1,500 dollars (the normal Will-excel course fee without the sponsor pay,) and find a job myself afterwards. They really do teach ESL methods specifically for the Chinese, so it's pretty useful. |

Heard some good and bad things (do a search) but bottom line is their cert. is not valid outside China; in fact it's probably not valid outside their province. |
