Hi, all-

I taught in Japan last year and am teaching ESL in the U.S. now, and I will be starting an M.A. program in East Asian Studies in the fall. I will be studying intensive Korean at a U.S. university betwen late June and late August. However, my school is on quarters, so I may not have much to do between late August and when fall terms starts in late September.

I've already studied Mandarin for four years but am rusty. I would love to go to China (to brush up on language skills) or Korea (to solidify the language skills I learn over the summer) for a few weeks in late August/early September before school starts.

Does anyone know of any summer camps that run that late? Oh, Taiwan would be another option....

Summer camps in Korea run from late Juuly for a month so I think you would be too late. Sometimes a teacher wants to go home for a couple of weeks and looks for a temp. But you would have to be in the riggtht place at the right time,..
