Hey everyone!
Has anyone heard of this school/program? I have an interview with them on friday but have yet to find their website or much info on them. I found them though O-Hayo Sensei and have yet to find their website. Or I may have found it but there's no English part so I'm at a loss. I'm sure I'll learn a bit more about them Friday for my interview but what sort of feedback have you all heard?

Which city? There are several ACEs that I've heard of.

I think mostly Tokyo at least that's where they were looking for.

Does this seem odd to anyone else?

I did a 15 min (maybe) interview with this group where they just sorta asked me questions based off this questioner I filled out. Things like where my nearest train station was, what lines went to it, ages of students i'd be willing to teach. How far i'd be willing to go, etc. They asked about my current job and past experience and that's it.

They offered me the job but I still am finding it odd. I filled out a questioner with yes or no questions, talked to someone for 15 mins about my answers then that was it. When interviewed for my current job and other teaching jobs here in Japan most of them asked me 'what if' situations and ideas for actives to try and get an idea of my teaching ability and methods.

On the flip side they pay for transportation, provide materials for your lesson and give you the option of who you want to teach or when you can teach.
