There's a new program being developed by the governments of Canada and Mexico whereby Mexicans and Canadians between the ages of 18 and 29 can get a work visa to work in each others' countries for up to a year...something like the working holiday visa you can get in Japan or among Commonwealth countries if I understand it correctly.

Not sure if it is up and running yet but apparently each country was taking applications to the new class of visa as of Nov. 1st.

I like this kind of program...it creates avenues to closer relationships instead of building barriers.
