There we go. I figure the picture is bad enough that it won't come back to haunt me. Bring on the groupies!
I've been looking so long at this picture of me that I almost believe that I'm real |

Very brave, Aramas. I almost believe you are real, too. |

@Khmerhit...If you are going to take a picture from the 'net and say that it's me, you could at least find one like this:

Seeing that, my first thought was:
"Wait.. if she's in Nova Scotia, that water will be really cold! Yegods, woman!"

Too true, nomadic. It actually snowed here last night. Yep, that's right, we've got a blanket of white stuff on the ground as I type this. |

We were spared the snow here in poutineville. The mercury dropped to 0 though...
(Homer Simpson voice) Stupid Canadian weather...

I really have to try poutine sometime. Whoever thought of putting cheese in chips and gravy was a genius. I've heard that some people put sour cream on it though. That's just plain sick.
Summer is over here in the tropics. I don't even need the ceiling fan on when I sleep now (naked with just a sheet of course). I'm also wearing a T shirt at home for the first time in four months so it's getting cold. How we suffer |

That squeaking in the background is the sound of closing arteries. Bon appetit.

Mmmmmmmmm poutine.
The thing about ordering poutine in a French region of Canada is that you might do what I did one time and mispronounce it. I was trying to be suave and give it a French pronunciation. Well, it was a French pronunciation all right...I looked right at the waitress who was taking our orders and said, "Poutin". |

I've had friends who were curb-crawled, but this is different!
Wish I had seen the look on her mug! |

I hear you, Capes. Furthermore, upon ordering the clump of gastronomical goodness, one must make sure not to enunciate the last syllable nasally. Otherwise, you come out with putain, an entirely different meaning altogether.

P.S. The previous example was by no means anectdotal. |

Oh my. I hope the waitress didn't take it too personally.
