| Except for other nationals of the Schengen zone therein, and the British-Irish Fee Travel Area, all visitors to E.U. countries require visas for lawful entry, although some here are very confused about what an entry visa is |
Well, duh! If the poster entered an EU country on a different passport to the one s/he left it on, then s/she clearly does not require a visa to be in that country!

| I've gotten some interesting PM's on the topic, but no one has actually claimed to to have had such an experience when using a second passport. |
Presumably because they never tried it? I'll repeat: almost all Middle East countries require citizens of 'Western' nations to have a visa to enter. In the rare occasions this is not required, the visitor will certainly have his/her passport stamped with the place and date of entry. If a foreign citizen turns up at the airport of departure carrying a passport which contains no such visa and/or entry stamp, how do you imagine they can prove the legality of their presence in the country? If someone did the same in, say, the US or UK, how do you imagine they would be treated by the immigration officials? |

| This thread contains far too many contentious postings and postings directed at the messenger rather than the message and is now locked. If you contributed to this situation, it would be a very bad decision on your part to continue this behavior in the future on other threads anywhere on this board. |
