I spent three years in Mexico. I never intended to make it my life, but I did work very hard to become a good teacher and gained as much as I put into the experience. When I returned home two years ago, I lucked into a social work job that fit my career goals exactly. Now I'm in grad school for social work, still working part time, and using the teaching skills I developed in Mexico during class presentations, my TA work and much more. I also find that superior editing skills are helpful in my own schoolwork and when marking my students.
So yes, a person can do well at home after working in Mexico. A lot depends on why the person went to Mexico in the first place. |

I really enjoyed the Red Glass it took me back to the Huajuapan I arrived in almost 13 years ago. It certainly has changed since then. |
