I would like to study Russian for 6 months in either Russia or one of the CIS states (maybe Uzbekistan). Does anyone have advice about decent schools in livable cities? Cost is not a huge issue, but I would like to get maximum bang for my buck if possible. |

Probably 80% of the foreigners I know here in Vladivostok are here to study Russian at DVGU (Far Eastern State University). I know they have a well-established--if not well-managed, program for people with your interest. |

I'll look for the web site; it's not so expensive (I think). |
