I've been sharing my (self bought apartment) with my GF for past 5 years now. Have the prenup signed and ready to go. I get 100% of what I came in with, she gets 0%. Marriage booked for next summer. It can be done...

Pre-nups are generally not recognised outside the US. "Not worth the paper they're printed on" was the legal advice I was given in Australia.

I said "never share - ever", but I am breaking my own advice because I share with my wife and our two daughters.

And incidentally in most countries outside the US the laws on Marriage and the Family do not encompass pre-nuptial agreements. Where I am it is still firmly based on Roman Law as amended by the Code Napoleon.

Dear Scot,
Let me guess--are you in Jersey, or Guernsey?

In America, prenups aren't always valid, well I should say the prenup is not always enforceable upon divorce
