I have been searching for a contact at MOM to look into direct hire jobs. I come up blank or getting escorted back to the recruiters. PLEASE PM me if you have a direct contact. |

'your friends in engineering at UOH are just fine and think it is a reasonable place, and that's because they are not in ESL or in the foundation year.'
Stop me if you've heard this before, but WHAT IS IT WITH THESE ESL/ Foundation Year programmes? |

Running Girl - I don't know about your not being contacted by the Tourism College I can't ask as I don't know who you are. What nationality are you?
I can ask and that will narrow it down |

SORRY! Don't know whether the senior moment overcame me, my computer, or someone in cyberspace! Yes, it was for another forum... |

Is this the one near Ruwi or Seeb? I know that the one near Seeb direct hires and doesn't use the recruiter system that MoM uses for the majority of their teachers.

The Tourism College Foundation year was housed in Ruwi a few years ago but is now part on the rest of the college now that the permanent building has been erected.
The institute near Ruwi could be the National Hospitality Institute who are part of the Renaissance Group of companies. They have a few language teachers but no Foundation. |
