anyone work for global partners? they have several jobs listed in the latest ohayo sensei. not finding too much about them by searching here. the jobs pay well, all are full time. are they up there with aeon, ecc, interac and all the other majors? big company, lots of rules, high teacher turnover? financial problems? |

It's not a big company at all, they deal with working in private schools and is probably one of the best dispatch companies that I've dealt with. It's not an eikawa, it's not ALT work either, you'll be on your own solo-teaching in the front of the class. They don't really provide you with much, you're kind of left on your own and have to make all the lessons by yourself. You're technically working for the company, but it feels more like direct-hire and they'll fight for you if you're having troubles, best of both worlds I suppose. Very little chance of getting hired unless you have teaching certifications and/or lots of experience solo-teaching in Japan. They don't have nearly as many contracts as some of the other dispatch companies do, so they can afford to be picky with who they hire.
Really, if more dispatch companies were like Global Partners, things would be a lot better for the industry. |
