I've heard electricians are as sought after as plumbers in the UK (and elsewhere) but perhaps there's now a glut of them, too.
Dentists can and do charge a packet. Apart from the many years of training involved, I've never much fancied the idea of spending my time peering into the mouths of others. There are some jobs I'm just not cut out for.
This might the hospitality industry too. As a student I once worked part-time in a cafe but decided it wasn't for me.
Interesting though as you could consider ESL to come under the umbrella of hospitality as well as education.

It also comes under the 'light entertainment for foreign students' umbrella methinks. |
