Wow...from pictures to French insults...this thread has deteriorated!!

Pics of me (to try to get back on topic)...well,I don't really care to be honest. Never thought about posting one on here as an avatar, but then again, my avatars never work. Sad

Have recently joined a community called ORKUT and there is a pic on there.

How do we get one on here?

BAH! tried 3 times and gave up. Maybe my site doesn't want me to be published!
I suppose my other option is to link my webpage, since I can't be too shy about it all, since I am published on the web!!

In retrospect, having noticed the bickering and backstabbing that goes on around here between people that appear to work in the same place, I suspect it would be in my best interests to maintain a certain degree of anonymity Smile

It's kind of pointless since my main contact in Saigon already knows my online name and will apparently be introducing me to his ESL teacher friends (he's not one). Fortunately I doubt I'll have to deal with many people that display an attention span longer than a beer, so I'll probably be ok.

Now if I can just find a suitable anime avatar... If I even think of using the word 'anime' in google I get an endless list of porn Shocked

lol as you can tell I havent got a problem posting my pics, hey theres loads on my personal photo page at http://photos.yahoo.com/daniel3982 if you fancy looking at them. I dont understand the paranoia. Obviously I wouldnt post my address or phone number but hey kids my name is Daniel McBride and I live in Gosforth, Northumberland. I used to go to Manchester Metropolitan University and i'll soon be in Ya'an, Sichuan. In 6 years of using the net no one has ever stalked me, or done anything to my pics (that im aware), if they do alter my pics for sexual pleasure than effing great. No one fancies me in real life (im too aware and philosophising rather than be a shallow eijit like most people here) so if someone wants to get their rocks off over me than great!!! If someone takes a shine to me than im happy!!! Alas it has never happened and never will, so enjoy my pics all you want, but I fear and know that no one cares about them Sad

Did you go there? I graduated in 1993 which I fear is before you because we didn't have benches to sit on as far as I remember... we just had to crash on the soggy grass.

Give my love to Gosforth although I have to say that with all of Northumberland to choose from, Gosforth would be somewhere near the foot of my list.

you can tell ive just been inside from the remnants of a snakebite and black at the corners of my mouth. Im afraid to say I never studied here I went to University in Manchester instead but have spent many happy days in the students union watching bands or just drinking myself to a stupour.

Yes Gosforth isnt exactly top of my list of places where I want to live unfortunetly my parents feel different!! I will give your love to it though dont worry!

I had a friend who took pictures of her *beep* (give the kid a break, she was sixteen Rolling Eyes

) for her boyfriend when he was away and sent them via internet.. next thing you know they've broken up and he distributed her shameless actions all over the web. They still haunt her to this day, but luckily, she had saved his scan of little "junior". Laughing

I rarely post pictures of myself, home/street, or other identifiable images... just so that I can avoid such drama. My cats are another story. Very Happy

Why do they always have to compare themselves with those who have gone before them? They don't seem to mind if they think that their predecessor was a bit of a scrubber, but it can get rough when they find out she was a hottie! Shocked
