BA degrees from long-established universities, even top universities, are steadily losing their prestige, due to a saturation of graduates in the job market, and also due to the fact that more and more people have postgraduate qualifications.
Bearing this in mind, I think a degree from a little-known Thai university would be rather unimpressive to employers outside Thailand, maybe even inside Thailand, as you don't know how highly or poorly ranked that uni is.
If you wanted to work as a Thai language expert, and studied the language at degree-level in a university there, then a Thai uni degree could probably be of great value, but apart from that...?
I would avoid it, personally. |

NO. I don't think anybody would accept this so-called "degree" esp. not in the USA, UK, Canada. Pretty much nowhere in any of the major and comepetitive EFL markets either. I don't see it as being worth the time or effort.
If somebody is serious and wants a real degree they can either go back to their home country for a few years or do a respectible (which means expensive) on-line course from the US. |
