Hi there. I did my Christmas thing last night! My lovely lady and I had pizza because in Japan I think most people celebrate Christmas on the 24th!
Today, I didn't do any Christmas things but that's okay because I ate too much yesterday!
What are you folks up to today or yesterday?
Merry Christmas everyone! |

Something super festive: Apartment hunting! Spent yesterday evening and part of today at the estate agent's.
Think I've been in my Leopalace too long. Found a place. It's nice and new being only 5 years old. It's only a few minutes down the road from where I am now (so nice location) and more importantly is bigger than my current 1k.
If all goes to plan, I could be moving in next month... it's all rather exciting.
Merry Christmas to all. Hope you all had a great day. |

Heh.
I've had the 'flu. My wife and youngest son have also had it, so yeah - Christmas dinner was beans on toast, as that was the best any of us could manage.
My eldest is determined that we're going to go to grannie's house today for Christmas dinner. I'm not so sure my mother wants an entire plague-house descending on her and her partner. |

Whoah!
That's bummed timing!
Mayeb you can postpone Christmas a bit or you could turn Orthodox and have Christmas on the 9th of January or whenever is is.
You know, there are twelve days of Christmas which end on 6th January even on the Western calendar and I'm lucky to have holidays the whole way through so I'm treating it all as an extended Christmas. |

It's all good though - I'm off till the 5th and haven't even been able to contemplate any of the booze I got... until tonight.
I imagine it will be WERST CHRISTMAS EVAR again tomorrow morning |

For the last three years, the 24th and 25th of December are Osoji Days, scrubbing the grub out of my place.
And I got rid of stuff - this year, I gave books away to the school library, returned borrowed books to friends (great excuse to look them up!), and put items I don't need on Tokyo Freecycle.
I joined my neighbours at a yakiniku place on the 25th.
I wish you all a happy, healthy (except for the food, hehe!) holiday! |
