I have been told by one school that they only have lessons teaching kids, i said a few kids are ok but prefer adults. The other schools seem to want me in Shanghai before interviewing. How do get the job i want and play this? |
Stick to your guns.
If you don't want kids. Wait.
If you want a job with proper visa BEFORE you go, wait for the right job.
There is no shortage of jobs available (even though this is the slowest time for teacher recruitment.
IF you have the credentials, apply for university positions rather than language academies.
If you have no credentials and/or no experience then take what you can get.
If you are limiting yourself to China then try posting in the China forums rather than the General Asia forum for more "country specific" information.
