Chest x-rays have been required, by the Ministry, since Oct/Nov 2009. This was implemented during the H1N1 scare. It has nothing to do with the recruiters.
Also, it must be noted that obtaining an apostille for documents is a completely different procedure than getting documents authenticated. Getting an apostille for documents is typically a one step process accepted by signatories of the Hague convention. None of the GCC countries are party to the Hague convention. Therefore, documents have to be legalized/authenticated. |

They were required from 1988 to 2001. Any idea when they stopped?
