When you arrive in KL, buy a Star newspaper, Saturday or Sunday editions. Those will be FULL of ad listings for rentals: condos, houses, apartments, and people looking for room- or house-mates.
It would be better to know where your place of employment is located first before hunting, however. Commuting across town can be difficult.

Try Craigslist to get an idea. There's usually a few apartments per week advertised there. |

Your best bet is to go through the Star.
One newspaper for everything (nearly). |

The rates will be expensive if it is for 3 months.
Usually your best bet is to call the local agents to see if they have apartments available for that short period. |
