Besides, you couldn't afford to feed me. Studies show that a full grown wolf can consume up to 25 pounds (or 10 kilos) of meat in a single sitting. I think the maitre d would look at us funny if we orded a 400 oz steak. Very Happy

And it would never work out between us. I'm an EFLer living in a country not my own. You're a football freak. We're just too different.

I knew there was a tv show that features the Osbournes Ozzie and family. But I think the show was cancelled because they are all in rehab now. Is the Beckham's the Brit version of this?

Ah, that would have been intraspecies equality and not interspeicens equality. Gotcha.

As for waves, the only waves I remember are y=cos(x) and so forth.

OK, so it's not exactly 'high' culture. And I'm not exactly a fan of David Beckham (he is an excellent footballer though). BUT, if it gets the students talking, why not?

I've been at my school for less than 2 weeks and the students are still pretty shy. But the 'Do you like Beckham?' question has been used a few times by the students to talk to me. He's someone they know about and they know they can talk to me about. And from there we can talk about other stuff.

If the students are talking to me in English, unprompted, then who cares if it's about something trivial?

Batman is out fighting heinous inner city crime without his trusty sidekick...i.e ..ME....or so he says....i reckon theres more to his jousts with catwoman than meets the eye...!

Therefore no curfew...but sadly no batmobile....alas the batcopter( busted rotor blade) and batcycle(Alfreds' using it to do the shopping) are also non starters....
