My friend's wife is due in about a month and was wondering if anybody could recommend a hospital. I believe that private hospitals are best, but which one?
Thanks very much. |

Private hospitals being better is an understatement here. Stay away from state-owned hospitals in the Middle East.
My son was born at GNP in Jeddah in 1994. No problems and attentive care. |

Well, it all comes down to the doctor, but if you dont know a recommended doctor, I suggest Irfan hospital in Stteen Street for their excellent nursing care and Suleiman Fakih for its overall good services and its more advanced medical equipments. Good luck |

The most well-known private hospitals:
Erfan Bagedo Hospital
Suleiman Fakih Hospital
Bugshan Hospital
GNP Hospital
I would recommend going with the 4th one, because the 1st two are like fish markets, always extremely crowded with packed corridors.
There is the relatively new International Medical Center (IMC) that looks like a 5-star hotel inside out, but that's only included in insurance companies' gold/VIP cards. Another one in the same category is the King Faisal Specialist Hospital (KFSH).
Has your friend and his wife been to any of the hospitals here for scans? |

Not sure about the scan. If it's part of the process, I'm sure she has. My friend and I work at KAU and his wife has been going to the clinic and the hospital on campus for a couple of months. They are not too happy with the service and the way she has been treated - she from Morocco and my friend and I are from the states (if that matters). |

Have you looked into the famous MASSALAMAH Hospital in Kobar? My son was born there in 1776. He still going strong! |
