Hi, I'm going to work with these guys in February. Ive only dealt with them by email so far, but they seem pretty on the ball, and the 6300 deal seems okay to me with the apartment and all the other stuff thrown in. I know some people say Guangzhou can be expensive, but I have simple tastes and rarely drink alcohol these day's so I think I'll get by. Have you taken up the job offer? |

Sounds like a recruiter to me. I think that 6300 in Guangzhou is not enough for an experienced foreign teacher, this is the beginning salary of most Chinese English teacher here. We foreigners should only work for a min. of 10K plus benefits.. The schools charge enough extra tution to have a foreigner and should pay us this fair amount, they can still make a profit. That being said, the supply of FOB white monkeys wanting to experience China is very high these days.
Good luck |
