Its a 4 week intensive course taught in Washington DC and the surrounding suburbs.
I am wondering if anyone knows of it, if it is reputable etc.
Also generally wondering, if I am planning to go abroad and teach for 1 or 2 years, will any old EFL certificate, as long as its intensive and not from an online only course help me?
I plan to teach in China or Korea specifically. |

For the 2 specific countries you listed the answer is YES (with the proviso that you also have a bachelors degree.)
If you do not have a degree then Korea is NOT an option (you CAN'T get a visa) and you will have difficulties getting legal work ("Z" visa and permits) in China.

At a glance, it looks like a fairly decent cert-
In any case, for the countries you mention, cert requirements aren't overly strict, and this one seems to meet them.
I notice a BA is a pre-requisite for this course, so I presume the OP has one.
Best,
