Anyone have any information they care to pass along about this school? Apart from some mild criticism that wasn't too scary (about 4 years ago) I can find little to warn me off what otherwise seems a good job!

Thanks in advance! |

Been past Leewen many times. Area is good - close to Crowne Plaza.

Close enough to sea to get that nice afternoon breeze in summer.

A good pirate DVD store close by and 2RMB on the aircon bus gets you to the older German part of town - again with good open air bars/restaurants.

Have no direct exp of teaching at Leewen though. |

I spoke with them but turned down their offer at the time. Nothing negative to say but keep in mind I have not worked for them. I have also not heard anything negative from anybody I know working in this city either.

Go ahead and give them a try. If you don't dig it, there are bucketloads of schools in Qingdao. |

Thanks guys! One more thing... is 5000rmb enough to live comfy in Qingdao? Apartment + amenities are paid for by the school. There is a good chance I will be doing more hours so I will be getting more than 5k but thats the minimum.

Thanks again for the info |

You haven't mentioned airfare refund/subsidy so expect that not included.

On that basis RMB5000pm is OK but not exceptional. |
