I plan on becoming an English teacher while I master Mandarin in Taiwan. Since I will probably not have a teaching position before I move to Taiwan, I would like to obtain a student visa in order to avoid leaving the country every 2-months just to renew my visitor visa.
-If I only want to pay for the bare minimum of ~10-hours/week in order to have a student visa, then how much USD should I plan on paying?
-Schools must be "an accredited ARC issuing institution." How common are these? Where can I find the cheapest ones? |

| Please be careful and check how much you can work while you stay here on a student visa. The hours might be very limited. I know other people who get sponsored with an 18-20 hour job and then go to school. |
