Is it true. A few years ago, did Oman do away with visa bans? If so, how are teachers and employers dealing with it. Is is a plus or a minus. Can I safely assume that means an NOC is no longer needed and only a good reference is necessary?
Thanks for any feedback. |

My friend recently left a job and, although the NOC isn't necessary, was required to obtain a letter from the previous sponsor stating that all financial matters were resolved and there was no objection to the visa transfer.
I suspect that this is to ensure that there is no debt following the employee as the new sponsor would ultimately take responsibility. |
