I am looking for a recruiting firm that hires ESL Teachers to teach English to workers of a company such as hotels (I have a AS in Hotel Management along with the work experience of working for a hotel) or call centers. I have a year of experience teaching ESL to children in the public schools in Korea, but I do not have my CELTA certification. I am looking for full time work and rent paid for by the company.
Thanks for any direction.

There are various threads on Dave's about moving from teaching to something corporate in China - one quite recent.
I would have to say jobs in corporates are very sought after and you would be in a queue.
There are a couple of state sector hotel management colleges in China - one in Qingdao.
They maintain very close connections with the industry. For example, Year Two of the three years of the Qingdao Associate Degree is spent on secondment at a hotel.
Might be a start point
Best

You could apply direct to Shangri-La. I tried to get a job with them before but my lack of hospitality experience bothered them. Their wages aren't massive, but its an excellent way to get into the corporate world in China.

You might need a teaching certificate but it might be worth trying anyway.

Good luck!

Firstly, if you see jobs that you fancy but the advertisement states they would prefer applicants with teaching certificates or CELTA, don't necessarily be put off. What they would like is different to what they may accept. Of course, not having teaching certification may have an effect on your ability to negotiate a top level salary. As the old adage goes, there's no harm in trying.

Secondly, many organisations advertise for corporate trainers. The hospitality sector is specialized and the number of vacancies is therefore restricted but there are always openings in the industrial sector. The website quoted in my previous post is a good place to search this type of vacancy.
