About to graduate college with a BA in English, US economy sucks, would like to go somewhere else and this sounds like a good plan. Ideas of who to go through or not go through would be much appreciated.

What makes you think the economy here is any better, particularly in areas of education?

You might want to consider China. You can earn 8000 RMB a month. Probably 12000 if you pick up a part time job.

Pick Taiwan. I saw someone post here in the Taiwan section that two private students in Taiwan would pull in 20k a month. If what this poster said was true then I honestly can't see why you'd bother with China. Simply come to Taiwan and get 10 or so privates. You'd pull in 100k a month easy, probably more.

MOD EDIT

Check out the add. At least 8000RMB in Hangzhou and a free apartment.

MOD EDIT

Or you can move to a major city in China and get 150 an hour teaching. If you don't mind working weekends you can get 150 and up an hour, 16 hours a week. Some schools offer 200 an hour to teach on Saturday and Sunday. It seems that children in China attend English class on the weekend.

Why not just stick to Taiwan and get 10 to 20 privates at 10k a month? Seriously, that's 200k a month, easy. It's dead easy.
