|
|
Hello all.
I'm writing to warn you all of a probable fraudulent posting here:
http://www.eslcafe.com/joblist/index.cgi?read=22387
Vinnell is a major multi-national company. It is highly unlikely that they would use a Hotmail account for recruiting purposes.
It is probably a scam of some sort.

Another agency outsourced-to-agent scam foisted upon the unwitting?
Thanks for the heads up! |

Looks like a low-level recruiter to me... which doesn't make it a scam.
Just a job to avoid... or be wary of...

Apologies, what do you mean by scam/fraudulent posting?
Are you making reference to identity fraud? |

When we refer to scams on this board, it is someone advertising jobs of some sort in some country... usually at a higher than average pay and super dooper benefits... though you need only limited credentials.
At some point, one is requested to send money to someone by Western Union to pay for the visa... and you are out the money... which has likely arrived in Nigeria or wherever.
If you want to read a bunch of these type ads... check out the sticky at the top of the UAE branch. Dubai jobs are the most popular with the scammers. They have even learned to piggy back off legitimate websites of real schools... and there was one using the website of one of the big US defense dept employers in Saudi.

Is the advert legit or not? Also, how about working for defense contractors? It seems Vinnell wants US military vets primarily. |
