I recently saw a posting for a Bell center opening in Amman. I was surprised to see that the pay vs. the cost of living was quite all right, so I looked it up and found that Amman has become somewhat westerner friendly in recent times, ala Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
I'd just like anybody's input about the place or the school. If and when I hear back from Bell, I'll keep you posted. |

I'm afraid not. No response at all. I've see a couple of other Jordan ads, but they did not offer the same level of pay. |

I was contacted by Bell for the Amman Business English job about 3 months ago. When I eventually contacted them they knew nothing about our conversation:- rang no bells with them |

i would hazard a guess that it means either the fairer or the 'fairy' sex.
btw, poqal, love the id which when combined with the locale, sudan, leaves a lot to be imagined... |

Well, I never got a nibble from them. I ended up in Oman, and I'm happy here. Now, a friend in Poland is probably going to go to Jordan to play in a hotel. She's a pianist. Any words of wisdom for a person in this position? |

Pay seemed to good to be true, for Amman. Really good salaries are to be found in international schools and universities.
Remember you are sent where ever the client is based so you could end up spending your money on transport. And of course there is the chance that it is not regular work. |
