I shall use the conference as a place and a time to bid "adieu" to my many (??) friends, fans and enemies.

Thereafter I shall be retiring to my Estates in that far-away island paradise.

I like Tahiti too Very Happy . Not just for the climate and scenery. As you know, Fletcher Christian fell in love with a local girl--one of several reasons for mutiny on the Bounty. Then Marlon Brando went and played Fletcher Christian and he fell in love with a local girl too.

Tell me you're not talking about some wind-swept rainy speck in the northern regions of GB.

After class here we usually retire to the drawing room for a glass of port.

And so it came to pass. I stood in front of the cheering masses and told them how clever I am. That is what people do at conferences.

6 weeks and I am out of here. of course genteel poverty on my "wind-swept rocky outcrop" may force me to return !

Never ! Once freed from my Mussulman chains I shall NEVER return to Moorish captivity.

Unless they pay me enough.
