As you might know, I am coming to Mexico City for a while on the 10th and really would like to make contact with anyone who might like to share their experiences re where to go after Mexico City. I was going to Guanajuato, and might still, but the job I thought I might have had is not really going to happen...I think.
Now I am not sure what to do, or where to start looking for a TESOL position.
I thought that I was going to have a soft landing in Mexico but now I am really out on a limb.
I know that this might sound strange, but I am a Calligrapher, well, was...until one week ago. Calligraphy was my business for 17 years. I would love to meet calligraphers in Mexico. Has anyone heard of any, as the only Mexico site I tried was a dead-end.
Well, hope to talk to someone soon,
christine |

Hi Christine,
Weren't you going to do Spanish classes in Guanajuato? Why don't you do that and use it as a time to get over your jet lag and just get a feel for the place. There is a job going in Irapuato which is quite close to Guanajuato, only open for women, and starts in June. I can't remember if its on this site or another, but pm me if you want the info.
Sorry, don't know anything about calligraphy here...
Keep on breathing in and out, and have a nice flight!
Best of luck,
Lozwich. |
