I got an offer that I am excited about in China but I have a few concerns. First I'm having difficulty finding anything about the school through internet searches. Second the actual contract seems very minimalist compared to others I've seen and is only in English. Third I am suppose to sign the contract upon arrival to the school as opposed to now or sometime before my arrival. What do you think? |

1 million schools in china so it is no surprise that you can't find anything on the English internet (actually a good thing since no-one has loudly complained).
It is a bit unusual but not uncommon that they are asking you to go over on a tourist visa and then will have to make another trip out and back to change your visa to a "Z".
You should have a signed (by both parties) contract BEFORE you go and reliable contact information (other than just an e-mail).
Minimalist is not that uncommon for contracts in China. Google SAFEA and have a look at their basic contract and you will get a better idea of what should be in your contract.
