I'm really wanting to go to Thailand in the summer and work teaching English. It would be great to get to see some of the place too. I am a qualified primary school teacher working in an International School in Geneva. I have a lot of experience working with EAL learners. Does anyone know where the best place to apply would be? Or if this is even possible!

there are loads of places who would snap you up.

Try Charter International School, you should be able to pull 60,000 a month there or you are the business Patana's ex-pat package should give you the willies.

Wanna really go for it.......... try Harrow, it used to pay about 150,000 baht a month........... But they will expect excellence.

Do they recruit just for the summer so July to end of August?

There are more than enough qualified people here as "tourists" who will work simply to extend their stay for a couple of months or to pick up a few baht because they live here.

NO_ONE will do the paperwork and fly you in from Europe for just 2 months when there is local talent on the ground who can be had for a fraction of what it costs to import you for a short gig.

I wasn't expecting to get my flight paid for. I'm quite happy paying for it myself. I'll continue the search, thanks for the heads up though.
