Hey, I'm a tourist here in Taipei. I'm leaving on Friday and I was wondering what's the most cost efficient way to get to the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport?

They depart from various hotels in Taipei. Will take you direct to the airport.

There's a shuttle bus service from the High Speed Rail station.
Could take the HSR from Taipei to Taoyuan and take the shuttle bus. Not sure how much the HSR would cost though.

1. Taoyuan Bus Station (Before Renovations with English Sign)

2. Taoyuan Bus Station (After Renovations but No English Sign)

If you were standing outside the doors of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store looking at Taipei Station, the Taoyuan Airport Bus Station is just to the left of Taipei Station. The Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store is almost directly across the street from the Airport Bus station, but not quite.

Also, they've done some renovations recently to make the station more modern, but that included removing the English sign on the front saying "To Taoyuan Airport". I just checked Google Maps and it is showing the old building still with the English sign, however that won't be there now. You can also see all of the white and blue buses parked in the station parking lot that go to the airport.
