I got the rejection email also. It is hard to really know what they are looking for. I have a teaching license from a respected University and 2 years of English teaching experience in the states.
The Good News: I got a job offer from another English school the same day. I'm heading to Japan in August. =) I will be living in Nagoya. |

Thanks guys. I have another interview with AEON this month so I'll know what to expect now!
Congrats to you Ben!
I'm not too upset about it anymore because I have the earthquake on my mind
I wonder if it is going to affect the hiring process due to the huge affect.
May everyone be safe and keep Japan in your hearts. |

| i had my interview in back in feb and i still haven't heard back! one of the girls in my group had her personal interview the next day because she was out of town and she just heard that she got the job a week ago. it seems like the time of notice really varies. |
