Good morning from Toronto! (Yes it is midnight right now).
So here's my situation now and I keep it as brief as possible: B.Com student grad last year, now studying TESL program recognized by TESL Canada and TESL Ontario, and want to go back to HK to teach. (Yes, I have dual citizenship status.)
Given that situation would I likely be stigmatized as of the following:
1) what on earth does this Commerce grad want to do? Teaching English? Ain't he suppose to buy stock and "fry" housing and all that?
2) this guy is 100% Chinese yet speak near-native English... why should I hire him?
Maybe I think too much and may not happen... but anyways...
Any input, idea, experience would be appreciated. Thanks everyone! |
