				| A friend of mine got an interview but so far the location is "undisclosed". I don't know if the school is open yet, or just keeping quiet. Anyway, the email address is MOD EDIT@hotmail.com. I dont know anything about it other than that you NEED to be qualified-I think "qualified" means a real teacher or a degree and some esl qual. It wouldnt hurt to try it out! |

				| hotmail address? IMHO that sends up a big red flag - have I seen them used in the past? Yes, but not by professional organizations |

So you don't know where it is... or even if it exists... but you are on here trying to run a free advertisement for them?? I see the MODs have edited out the "hotmail" address. If it is a legitimate institution and acceptable job, let them run an ad and tell people what and where the darn place is... pay, benefits, job requirements.

				| Bet it originates from Nigeria and there will be a request for a 'fee' for processing a visa. |

every now and then, you get an organization that is amazingly incompetent about e-mail processing and servers - and bright supervisors revert to personal/commercial e-mail vendors.

(of course - that level of incompetence is a fairly clear warning signal)

In general, I think I'd ignore hotmail solicitations - unless it came from someone I knew.

				incompotent/incompotence

That's a nice one. Means impotent in the context of com(munication)?

Just guessing... |

I don't know if the generic email address is necessarily a warning - a company's email on a server like Outlook gets easily bogged down and will close after an hour when 100 applicants send in their mails with 10 MB attachments.

I am no techie but I don't think the option of the private mail means that the company or the supervisor is incompetent?? Maybe you guys are a wee bit cynical.............?

2 cents worth.....

I could be wrong, but that response sounds just a wee bit cynical.
